Jillian's unique style and dedication has been sought for projects which include; Children Books, Educational/Curriculum Illustration, Fine Art, Photography, and Creative Project Direction.
Recognizing her enthusiasm for children's illustration, Jillian was asked to create the concept art and final illustrations for a charming children book/merchandise/live show series in Switzerland promoting a multi-platinum Swiss musician. The 7th book she created for this successful series was commissioned for 2014 to celebrate the famous Swiss landmark Jung-Frau/Top of Europe.
A passion for visual storytelling and as a fierce defender of children, led Jillian to RISD. Her thesis: "Purposeful Play and the Art of Deeply Noticing" and "Dream Traveler", were researched and developed to illustrate a collaborative experience using art and narrative to guide youth toward self-empowerment, curiosity and autonomy.
Recently Jillian completed a multi-year contract for Foundations inc. illustrating curriculum + comic companion for Lincoln Center NY's Jazz Academy, in collaboration with Mizzen by Motts.
